Plot
*Cosmos Colapso* is part of the repertoire of the Núcleo de Criação Gustavo Silvestre; it draws upon the Cartesian maxim "I think, therefore I am," Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, and Carl Sagan's cosmological thought to investigate the human condition, tracing a path from the primordial state of existence to the emergence of consciousness.
The work integrates dance, theater, audiovisual media, and new technologies, centering on transculturality—a concept shaped by experiences and intersections encountered across different territories. On stage, the body moves between states of survival, adaptation, and reflection, creating tension in its relationship with time, space, and the cosmos.
Along this journey, a philosophical dimension emerges that evokes the elements of nature—earth, water, air, and fire—prompting reflections on belonging, balance, and the ways human beings fit into these systems.
Projections that traverse the body and the proximity to the audience create an immersive, sensory experience, leading the viewer on a journey of contemplation regarding our place in the universe.
